Sometimes, she is too smart for her own good. Luckily, sashimi and I are still ahead of her but I do wonder what kinds of rubbish DD1 will fill DD2's head with in the years to come. Sigh....

      schellen,
welcome to my world. šŸ˜‰ šŸ˜›

DD2 and I were doing some assessments couple of days ago.
on the note on assessments, ds1 did one about Uncle A sweeping leaves into Uncle B's yard and Uncle B burns the leaves into fertilizers for his veg patch and then gave some of his harvest to Uncle A causing Uncle A's face to turn red (in embarassement). When the question asked about what Uncle A will do in the future, ds1's answer is
        \"Uncle A will give Uncle B more leaves\". 😐

I said answer is \"Uncle A is so embarassed that he will not sweep leaves into Uncle B's yard again\", ds1 argued that question is asking for \"what Uncle A WILL DO in the future\".

Visited my sis during cny and gave ang pow to niece. Niece immediately tried to open it.

          Sis: What are you doing?
Niece: I want to see how much big 'jiu jiu' give me.
Sis (sternly): When people give you ang pow, you can only open it at home, understand?
Niece: But now I at home wat
          Sis: ??? :?
:rotflmao: :rotflmao: It's just like when I'm at my student's house. After tuition, sometimes I dismiss them by saying \"you can go.\" One student was confused and asked \"Go where?\". Another was like \" :? I'm at home, what do you mean? Go home?\"

              Phonics disaster................

Though dd has heard of the word \"vagina' many times, she may not have visualised it. So recently while walking on the streets....she gave out a loud yell suddenly...

              dd:eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee....

me: what? what? what? (my head spinning around)

dd: \"Va-gi-na\" Hotel....what kind of hotel is that?

              me: where?

              dd: there...up there......

me: I looked up and burst into laughter.... \"Vir-gi-nia\" Hotel my dear....OMG....your eyes and your phonics do not tally....or maybe it's your brain....you choose to see \"na\" instead of \"nia\"

              dd: kakakkakakakkakakkakakakakkakakakakakkakakakkakakkakakaka

She could not stop laughing at her own blunder for the whole night.....my silly kid... :rotflmao:

Another reason not to christian your dd virginia in this part of the world. In case next time she works for a tow-kay with poor pronounciation skills.

Kids say the most amazing things now.

My daughter asked me whether I lock my door. I told her I don't usually do that. She asked, 'Then how do you kiss and hug?' :!: :!:
I asked her where she heard/learnt that from. She said her classmate told her that her parents lock the door when they want to kiss and hug. šŸ˜‰
