Hi CHC123,
Those are consider performing Arts CCA and you can check the school website for the Date for DSA Application & as well as their Open House. What I remember that their open house last year was quite late and coincide with a lot of good school like Temasek JC, Dunman High.

As I understand from my daughter, first open house will be May 31, Saturday.
Check cedar website for more details later.
Your question on DSA can be answer during the open house.

I’m really happy your daughter chose Cedar Girls’ ! I was also contemplating between Cedar and crescent and in the end I chose Cedar IP and I’m really happy there! Not only as there jogging periods every week to keep us fit (I’m in track and field so i enjoy running), but the environment there is much more conducive for learning! The seniors and juniors there are very bonded, especially in CCAs. What CCA is your daughter in? I live in Queenstown (which is VERY near Crescent) but in the end I chose Cedar. Even though it takes about 45 min every day to get to school, I never regretted my choice to go to Cedar instead. Not only does Cedar have the VCA Programme (Victoria-Cedar Alliance) or IP which will bring the IP students into VJC, most Cedar students end up in prestigious colleges such as VJC and RJC. Also, since I’m a girl, I take the appearance of the uniforms into consideration. Cedar has a really cute yet smart blue blouse paired with a grey skirt and tie, while Crescent has a yellow blouse with a green pleated skirt. I much prefer Cedar’s uniform And yes, my opinion is very biased because I’m in Cedar. Hope you daughter has/had a great time in Cedar!

Hi there! Cedar doesn't have Chinese Orchestra as a CCA as far as I know.
