Hi Mummy,
My girl is in P1 this year. For last year P1 Registration, all Singaporeans got in.

Only the PRs had to draw lots.

Hi any ks parent with gals in p1 this yr? My gal is in P 1. She really likes the school and look forward gg to school every day. She was sick 2 days ago and miss her spelling, erm wondering if she need to retake it again? For her first spelling, d ft gave her a big sticker for scoring, she so happy. D tr is quite gd at motivating kids. Any adv whether its too early to sign up for any cca? Also, is it true tat d weaker ones need to go for remedial classes? Does it help? Many tks in advance!

End of p1 term 2:-
St anthony cannosian primary kickstart simple Maths modeling, problem sums. Will be very basic.

Beginning of p1 term 4:-
P1 pupils will learn simple Chinese picture composition.
Lao Shi will give them one picture, to look at.
P1 pupils are expected to write 3 lines of sentences in chinese, to describe content of the picture. If child able to express beyond 3 lines, will be good.
Minimal 3 lines.

Example:
lao shi may show the picture of a child, celebrating his / her birthday.
It is the picture of a birthday party celebration.

Beginning of p2 term 1:-
Chinese picture composition getting a bit complex now.

Instead of just 1 picture shown -
There'll be 3 pictures now, in consecutive order. The last picture shows a big question mark; meaning it is up to the p2 pupil, to give the conclusion - be it a happy ending, sad ending, or a morale lesson to learn from.

If the p2 pupil can apply some useful / meaningful \"Cheng Yu\" (Chinese idioms) that are relevant to the context of the 3 pictures shown, will be good. (Can score marks)
