Cowiemama:
No, not planning to let DS2 try gor gor school. We all know how difficult (or impossible) for mainstreamers to go in there via DSA..

Will decide on CHS DSA, after the yum-cha session with Mr Lee on 17 May..
Is your DS1 checking out of boarding this week, to revise for exam at home ? Seems like many are doing so. But DS1 says he can study better at boarding (less distraction), so he will stay put there this week..

Hi firefly,
DS1 already finish his boarding in term1. He will board again in term3 due to prefect’s duties.
CHS is a good sch. My DS2 really loves his sch haha. He says no regrets of not going gor gor sch. -

Hi,
my ds is in P6 this year and we are considering to apply for DSA for CHS. However, I think he can only try the academic/leadership category as he does not have sports or arts talent. I heard it is very slim chance for maintstreamers (not GEP) to get in through DSA. Is it true? Also is it true that you need to have say National awards for the academic/leadership category?
Thanks.
