        Hi,

Can any of the parents of the existing students in St Anthony kindly share briefly how the culture is like in St Anthony?
Ie: is it very academic based or more focused on all rounded development of students?
Generally how are the teachers? Nice, responsive etc?
        A lot of homework?

I posted the qn in another thread but no one responded, will anyone be nice enough to give a brief feedback as I’m considering between St Anthony and Bukit panjang…

        Thank you

Hi KKmama, my son is with St Anthony for 4 years. So far from P1 to P4 (P1&2 same teachers & P3&4 same teachers) the form teachers he met is very nice, caring & liable perhaps I should said he is lucky..^o^..

I have went to their PTM and also attended their activities and found that the most of the teachers are accountable, homework wise it depends on how your child act in school..^_^.. If he can finished his school work then it will not have lots of homework then..^o^..

The top 2 classes perform quite well. Based on last year’s psle results, half of kids from the top class got 250 and above. On average, the t-score has been improving.

Would like to find out if 90% overall results but only 70% in mother tongue can qualify for top Pri3 class?

I believe banding based on other 3 subjects. DD was in top class when she was in p3 and her MT was average. Definitely not in the 90s.

                        Thanks you bb mom.

I hear some of the parents saying only 95% and above can go into 3-1 class. Is the standard so high? There is no class position given in the report book, so not able to tell our chance.
