manage to come back here to browse. finished 1 exam and another exam coming up. sigh. ME time is very scarce, got to depend on DW for ME time now.

How's everyone? I see a big jump in the pages. everyone having their ME time?

Buds, I noticed that you like McCafe quite a bit.. What's your favourite there? McCafe is very near my place.. Hope to be a regular there.. Starbucks is always crowded.. And no coffee bean near my place..

My ideal me time will be a cup of cuppa and a slice of cake or muffin + my gadget or a good book.. How relaxing..

It's not so much that I like Mc Cafe. More to the fact that it's one of the cheaper cafés around anywhere I think? :oops: Cheap thrill. Otherwise these kinda muffins, brownies, cheesecakes are usually home-made. Then, every one in the house gets to snack from Budsie's Cafe. :rotflmao:


Apart from price, quality wise so far no issue too. Always taste how I remember it. Convenience is another factor since there are plenty of Mc Cafés around.

I like chocolate. So it's usually a cuppa hot chocolate and fusion berry cheesecake (which they don't serve anymore anywhere ) or double chocolate with pie or cake. I don't really like their brownies, it's kinda too rich and too dry at the same time. No nuts too. I never buy muffins outside & I don't like those cinnamon rolls.

Guess I'm the stick to one (loyal) kinda gal. Tend to stick to familiar favourites because I know it never disappoints, enough to make me happy.

One of the evenings last week, hubs asked me out to Starbucks. It was super crowded with studying peeps that genuine patrons were deprived of seats. He thought we could lounge around for longer to chat, in a quieter cafe than Mac. We eventually got window seats just enough for us and bought overpriced drinks and cake.

I do however like TCC. :love: The one mincy and I hung out at was awesome, from ambience to food and of course her company. Totally delightful and worth the $ spent.

I'm like you too, nice drink and cake plus my trusty gadget AND a book today for two hours and I'm happy for that down time.

I like TCC too but haiz… They will never come to my pathetic bukit panjang plaza…


I would ditch Starbucks and McCafe anytime for TCC… With my little one… I prefer not to go too far on a weekday… So now… It is either McCafe or wait for the weekend…

The TCC I went to was at Tiong Bahru.

Bringing kids along to places tucked at corners of the earth is no mean feat. I also make sure there's that handy nursing room around. I never leave without my nursing shawl, in case I hafta feed babies wherever I'm at.
