Hi cafelatte,

Son's Grammar and Science books have replaced my Female and Her World magazines I could sit down and read magazines for 2 hours but not anymore. If I do not have to read son's textbooks, it will be reading storybooks with my daughter.

I've bought 水浒传，红楼梦 & 三国演义 (simplified version) during the book fair last year.
Didn't buy 西游记 as I had the VCDs.

I have all four books when my eldest was age 3.

Plan to let my children watch 三国演义 when they are older. I have been slowly introduced chinese classic to my eldest by reading to them.
