Do note that the other mixed IP schs mentioned (Dunman High, River Valley High) also have a higher percentage of girls vs boys so it's not just NJC šŸ˜‰

NJC traditionally emphasis that the students do well in math and sciences but probably no better than the other single-sexed schs ranked above it and also NUS High. Again each school has its own atmosphere and vibe. DS seems happy for now. I also noticed that his class has good mix from various primary schools with many from neighborhood schs.

Can anyone explain to me about the CCA in NJC?

                  http://www.njc.edu.sg/campus_activities.htm

There's Junior High CCA programs (Table 1) & JH & SH CCA programs (Table 2). What does Table 1 mean?

In Table 2, some CCA has (JH + SH). Those without means what?

                  Thanks

Hi! The CCAs you can join in JH are either the CCAs in the first chart or the CCAs in the second chart marked with a bracket that writes\"(JH+SH)\". The CCAs you can join in SH are all the CCAs in the second chart.
By the way JH(junior high) is equivalent to secondary 1-4 while SH(senior high) is equivalent to JC students:) I hope this answers your question.
