- sch bus can adjust their travelling route, to pick up your dd, in Kallang.
Don't worry.
School bus fare charges from Kallang to Mount Sinai (Holland) :
is around $200 per month (2 ways : to and Fro)
Our RGPS Sch bus fleet go all over Sg, pick up kids, from remote places.
Will be those small mini van.
To Pasir Ris, Tampines, remote Seletar also have. -
Thx for the information.

No she’s born in 2009, entering in 2016.
We are checking now as deciding if to join alumni which closing period is Jun 2015. -
I have read that the school bus pick up the girls really early in the morning and is concerned on the school bus timing. Also wonder if there’s any transportation home after Cca as we can’t fetch her. Dilemma…

2014 and 2015 : Sch bus fetch kids to Mount Sinai (temporary holding site)
So, you won't be able to tell what time Sch bus fetch your dd early morning, until 2015 Nov : after Sch bus driver has finalized all the new P1 girls enrolled into RGPS.
Each year, got different new girls join Sch bus.
Every year, the traveling route to school alters, because new girls come on board the school bus.
Hence, the pick up time for individual girl taking school bus, may also change.
We, current parents, won't know what are the new school hours like, come Jan 2016 : single session.
We also not sure if the new building construction (now ongoing) can complete in time on schedule or not, for all of us to shift back to Hillcrest.
Many things are unknown now.
Principal still in the midst of planning the new school hours schedule, for 2016. Not finalized yet.
Not sure if after single session : school going to propose push back the new starting time to start later at 8 am, instead of 7.20 am (currently for P3 to P6), or not.
Since we don't know what time school start in 2016, likewise, we won't know what time school end. Also not sure what time CCA start or end.
Nor what time Sch bus fetch kids home after CCA end, in the late afternoon.
From now (2014) to 2016 ... 1.5 years left
Still quite some time. -
Dear parents, does rgps conduct pri one registration talk ?

okie:
Dear parents, does rgps conduct pri one registration talk ?
No, our school doesn't conduct any Open house, nor P1 registration talk, for K2 kindergarten parents.
This year intake -
same as last year (2013) intake = 270 pupils
Total : nine P1 classes
Each class : 30 kids
http://www.moe.gov.sg/education/admissi ... vacancies/
last year (2013)
Phase 2C (open to public) :
Our school absorbed all SC citizens : staying within 2 km, from Hillcrest.
No balloting was involved.
Initially, Some parents staying more than 2 km had enrolled their dd into rgps, on the first 2 days of Phase 2C.
However, on the last day (third day) of Phase 2C :
school informed all those > 2 km, to withdraw their child, to enrol in some other schools instead, and make it in time fast, so as not to lose the precious Phase 2C opportunity.
Rgps past years P1 registration enrolment statistics
http://www.rafflesgirlspri.moe.edu.sg/e ... statistics
All primary schools' registration : end at 4.30 pm.
Ensure that your child's name is captured into the respective schools' computer system, latest by 4.30 pm (closing time)
Otherwise, if miss 4.30 pm closing time, some schools' P1 registration admin are strict; they'll ask parents to enrol their child, in next Phase 2C supplementary , instead.
But After your dd has been enrolled successfully into our school -
you will receive a letter sometime in late October, specifying when is the date of P1 orientation, and the particular P1 class your dd has been assigned to.
This year, P1 orientation was on Saturday, 4 January 2014.
For 2015 P1 (2008 born children) -
Pupils will study P1 at Mount Sinai (Holland), afternoon session 12.30 pm to 6.30 pm.
2016 onwards -
school target to shift back to Hillcrest : single session.
