Thx for your info. My hushand is a singaporean as well as my dd. We are planing to get a property or rent a place <1km nearby MGS. Any comments to this school? Heard that students are all from rich families…(but we are not)

Well done, MGS, for capturing the B, C & D division overall champions cup for the national inter-schools yesterday! The girls swam their hearts out and parents and teachers cheered their throats sore. The indomitable school spirit is indeed something to behold. An amazing clean sweep, indeed a royal flush of all wins! Congratulations!

Yes, even for Phase 2B -
Must be within 1 km.
Reason :
Far too many parents enter by Methodist churches road.
Plus minority entered by GRC route. -

Many parents here are professional doctors, lawyers, businessmen.
Only Minority stay in HDB flats.
FYI
As such, There are often requests for fund raising, in this school.
You need to be aware of this
If you enrol your dd into this school, be prepared.
MGS is a mission school -
God does not make a distinction between the rich vs. the poor. -
yup i also tot of applying via methodist church…but guess i better have plan b.

We fall under Phase 2C but stay beyond 2 km from MGS i.e. very unlikely to get in. Can anyone please advise the likelihood of getting into MGS from Pri 2 onwards?
