Tot of something quite extreme & too much , & dh wl sure scold me for \"spoiling\" him. Ask my ds to come out & meet me at the gate, so tat I can pass him his lunch!


Dh was complaining that they had lunches in school last time, so wat's wrong with that. But I dont think the canteens have vending machines selling all kinds of junk foods then rite?

Btw, have any of u tried packed food fr yr children in the morning at 7am(cooked foods such as pasta, fried rice, etc), for lunch at 1pm, will they turn bad?

remembered during our days canteen food is still q decent, or our standards have raised?

been to the canteen during the 1st wk and the food really dun look nutritious and appetising…noodles with few pc of fishcake, prata with lots of sugar (ds told aunty less sugar and it is still a lot!), rice with fishball, egg, sausage…and the sinful vending machine of chips.

thgt schools banned selling of tidbits at one pt of time?

My dd also got her blouse stained at the back during the art class though she wore an apron. She told me some naughty boys go around painting the friends from the back!! I’m also not prepared to change her uniform.

yap, windows, i’m sahm. how abt u ?? dd2 ok already but this morning she got tummy ache; sigh !! hopefully she’s ok later; seems like there’s a stomach bug going around her class; one just returned after stomach flu and another vomited last week. btw, she just dropped her 2 front teeth (1st one on the 1st day of cny and 2nd one yesterday).


my dd2 also got a green stain on her uniform when she accidentally use a green marker (got use marker meh ?? couldn’t get a clear picture fr her) and no matter how much bleach/ stain remover i put, it’s still there !

so fast, term 1 is ending soon and march hols coming; anyone going for a short trip ?

KHS is organising a used clothes/toys donation on 2-3 March.
I want my DD to donate some toys but she disagree.
Will be sorting some old clothes for her to bring to school.
Anyone supporting this event?

there's an upcoming meet-the-parent session. does anyone know if this is a mass meeting or one-to-one mtg? do we get to meet the FT only or all 3 main subj teachers?

for the donation, are the parents allowed to enter the campus? we have few big bags of toys in good condition, and is definitely too bulky for ds to carry....

Well, according to my dd2 most of her classmates’ mummies are working and she’s envious. she seems to like the idea of a working mum (bringing home lots of $$) and more freedom for her !


dd2 also refused to part with her toys - only managed to donate 2 soft toys. will ask dd1 to bring some clothes - not too much 'cos of the weight.

Last yr, meet the parents session is one-to-one with the form teacher (only abt 10 mins) - other parents sitting behind can hear if u talk too loud and teacher glancing at them apologetically if u take up too much time. Then meet the chinese teacher in another room only if she needs to talk to u or u can go to that room and arrange to talk to her ie. if u have some queries and she’s free. dunno if this yr the practice is still the same. there’ll be another meet the parents session later in the year if needed (ie. forms given to only a few in the class); otherwise this will be the only time we can talk to the form teacher.
