As mentioned, withdrawal is immediate but it may still take a while for the computer system to process. Do note that some schools may require both sets of Parents' IC for withdrawal. Please plan accordingly. πŸ˜„

:scared: πŸ˜“ anyone knows if the \"balance seat\" will be released on the day itself? i wonder how to monitor the available seat then... unlike buying hdb flat, still can see the \"result\" immediate / live..

Yes the balance will be recounted and updated on the spot. Some schools use the white board to show the vacancies and the in-charge will just erase and update with the new figure on the spot.

Yes, in this case, the withdrawn seat (from 2A) will automatically be carried forward to phase 2B. This is provided that the withdrawal happens in phase 2B and the withdrawal comes from someone who got a vacancy at 2A(2).

However, If the withdrawal happens during the current phase of 2A, it goes back into the 2A pool for the 2A applicants.

          Hope this clarifies.

When is registration for next year 2015 open? How do parents start the process going? I’m about to move house temporarily for 4 months till my new place is ready so I’m worried I miss the deadline if I don’t get the mailer. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks

There is no mailer. Check MOE website or KSP forum here for information.

so meaning have to get \"someone\" to monitor on the spot ? i have friend mentioned to me that it happened to one of her close friend, she went to school B and noted on the vacancy then went to withdrew at school A. She then hurried to register for school B but who knows school B registration time closed...:( then end up get school C

Hopefully its fast and simple. If they require both parents to be present for withdrawal, will need to cater more time as you need to rush off to the second school before registration closes.

They should be able to share the information over the phone. Do also take note of the registration hours as the system closes and the school will not take in your registration when the time ends.
