Hi carebear! ya, the problem is I changed maid agency lah. So need to pay agency fees once more. I didn't take the free replacement from the first maid agency because I can't interview at all. So, if the next replacement I get is worse than the one I have now, I think it be would a waste of time. the agency fees is $488 plus $290 for insurance. i added in my previous agency fees to show how much I lost inorder to get another maid loh. Actually my fault for sticking to a agency that don't conduct interviews.

hi peapot, it happened to me also, I have to pay the agent fees all over agin when I change agent. The 1st agent only refund me the maid's prorated salary (loan) and the insurance. The agent that am having now, allows me to pay PD cheque for maid.. Haiz, I can understand how you fee;, but somtimes really a no choice thing.

Same to me....I think more than S$1k ne......

SiSi, yup one of myanmar maid wore a low cut top and serve coffee to my hubby in the morning before she goes for her off day. Her entire bra and breast can be seen because she bent slightly to serve the coffee. I was fuming mad!! Right infront of my hubby, I told her off \" change your clothes now, you want to wear low cut clothes please go and change it in public toilets. When you are still in my house you wear non-revealing clothes!! It does not mean its your off day I have no say in what you wear! Before you come home you better change back to the non-revealing clothes. These are my house rules!!\"

hahaha....my maid din wear bra in the morning when she wakes up to sweep the floor. I caught her one morning and told her off.

She can still tell me that sir is sleeping in the room. B4 sir wakes up, she will wear the bra...I was :x

The important thing is, do you get a better maid after all the money you've spent? If yes, GREAT! If no, then really :stupid:

I m very fearful everytime I changed maid. sigh! Hopefully this new one will turn out right!

shine_fs, is your maid from Indonesia? Normally indo maids more conservative, I don’t think they dare to go without bras.

I will tell my maids starting from the day that i hire them that they are to dress modestly, ie no sleeveless tops, shorts must not be too short and no figure hugging clothes. So far no problem, cos maybe i also dress conservatively. Also they are not to talk to sir. If they need anything, they must ask me first.

I wonder if you are not ard, how can they don't talk to sir, if they have questions?

              :?

If that’s the case, maybe we should even list "must wear bras at home" as one of the houserule. Can’t imagine even things like that also must list!! Maids!!!

:!: :!: wah, like dat, I think also must stipulate what type of bra....lacy type also fail right? it's sad when we have to impose such 'rules' but then it's for their safety also.

Hmmm, if need to buy uniform for them, better include what's underneath.

Actually I cannot understand the logic. Employers pay maid salary, food, etc; and it seems in many cases their clothings even (I recall having to buy undies for my ex-maid once). I cannot imagine if MY employer got to pay for all these for me. 😛

This is one of the major issue that caused my MIL high blood pressure when my previous maid did that. At that time, yougest BIL was unmarried, MIL was super alert ....
