What leaflet? Both my dd and ds didn't bring anything from school today? What was it all about? Holiday Camp in the March hols?

My girl's gotten the above-mentioned leaflet from the school.

Anyone has been to the holiday camps before or intend to send your kid to it during this Mar holiday?

I could not find any info relating to it locally. Wonder if they're new...

Sorry, forgot to mention it’s the Australian Cartooning Camps during the coming March hols. She brought the leaflet back yesterday. Sounds interesting but just want to find more info abu it.

Nope, nothing from dd and ds yesterday. Will go home and check. But do you think P1 can do cartooning? dd loves to to draw and colour, but am thinking if at this age it will be worth it for her? What do you think?

Sounds intersting…how much does it cost? And where will it be? In school?

If not, pls see the following info regarding the Australian Cartooning Camps:

Dates: Mon 15 March till Fri 19 March
Costs: S$40 per child per day (short day- 9.30am to 3.30pm)
S$45 per child per day (long day - 7.30am to 6.00pm)
S$25 night camp (6.15pm - 9.15pm) per night
Venue: S’pore Salvation Army Headquarters Hall (Air-conditioned)

Yes, I did finally get the leaflet. But no, I won't be sending them to the camp as we will be shifting house that week - thought if it was in school, can try! What about you?

Mmm, not very sure if I'll want to send her there...cos' both my kids wanted to go on diff days

I tot Beacon has no CA and exam for P1 but I am wrong after I receive those letter from school.

Yeah! ....was told by last year's parents that no exams for P1 and P2, but apparently this year MOE told them to hold exams.... :? Thot MOE said no exams for P1 and P2????


But if you see the weightage to the exams, it does not look like an SA, but more like Continous Assessment, which many of the schools also have....
