        rocklee:
DS1 and DS2 love to watch the programme \"Crimewatch\". There was one particular episode about robber. So here's the conversation:

DS1: Mum why do robbers want to rob?
        Me: Becos they want money.
DS1: Then who is the silly fella who invented \"money\". If there is no \"money\", then won't have robbers right?

Since that episode, they have been bugging me with thousands of questions on security issues, reason why pp rob, how will they be punished etc etc. They even came out with a scenerio of how to react if they meet a robber, they will use their so called \"kung fu\" to kick their butt. So

DS1: didi, if one day we meet the robber, the only way to fight them is to stay \"UNITED\" since we are small.
DS2: ok, let's start practicing now!

I was really amused by the way their little minds work. šŸ˜„
cute boys you have there ! šŸ˜„

DS3 wanted to be a neurosurgeon when he was in P3 cos one of his best friends wanted to be doctor and he asked which doctor earned the most money. You see, DS3 was very money-minded in the sense that he wanted to earn big bucks. DS1 wanted to be a policeman. This conversation happened a few years back when we were watching crimewatch (before DS1 became a police officer).

DS3: Mummy, how much does a policeman earn?
          Me: Maybe $2000 a month.
DS3: That's little and ge ge (refering to DS1) wants to be a policeman :? I prefer to be a neurosurgeon but I'm afraid of blood. :torchme:
Me: Have you seen the butcher cutting meat? Just prevent that you are cutting meat. šŸ˜‰
DS1: Mummy, you might as well ask him to be a butcher. šŸ˜›
DS3: How much does a butcher earn?
Me: Depends on the number of pigs you slaughtered and sold. :siam:
          DS3: 😐

Anyway, DS3 watched lifeline after that and couldn't stomach the gruesome scenes and finally decided that he want to be a Maths professor. :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao:
P.S. I think I'm the most  mother in the world. :clubmyself:

Not I don't want lah. DS3 is afraid of blood and got scared after watching those scenes on lifeline and decided that he can't take it. He found out that if he becomes a Math professor and teach in NUS he still can make big bucks. :celebrate:

DD1 : I got to be class leader ya know, mei.

                    DD2 : So best. I didn't get to be.. šŸ˜ž

DD1 : I get to help with a lotta things.

Me : Yah, i know. Must clean the board for teacher.

DD1 : Yah, how you know?

Me : I had to do all those nonsensical errands back then.

Me : (In my heart) Hehee.. and i got to loiter around the school with VALID permission.

Me : I know cos i was chosen for monitor, prefect, leader, chairman,
tableman... ... you name it. I've done them all. A lot of running
around doing stuff for the school and teachers, but we do learn a
lot about leadership qualities, working with people, work distribution,
(etc). But still, it's fine even if we do not get to be one of them cos
you'd have more time to read... finish and check your work... (etc)

DD1 : But still nice getting to be one.

DD1 : As leader i get to carry books for teacher.

DD2 : Wah so best.. so far i only get to be the PE representative.
Like class helper like that. But teacher was impressed that i could
do my job well even though i am very small. (DD2 is very very small)

DD1 : If class leader get to carry books, PE rep get to carry....?

DD2 : Mine better! I get to carry balls! šŸ˜Ž
