but how does phase 1 registration work since the parents do not need to go down to the school to register? I heard they have already handed in the form to the school earlier

If parents had already submitted their forms to school earlier in April, then no need to go down tomorrow.
Because school would already have all their sibling's documents, and had processed.
From April to June : they would have gone through at least one round, internally, checking through the documents submitted earlier, one by one.
Schools had already punched in Phase 1 data, into school computer database, waiting to be uploaded.

Unless there happen to be parents who last minute had missed out enrolling kid under Phase 1 earlier, under unexpected, unusual circumstances.
Then they'll walk in tomorrow. But normally this is rare.

What happen is tomorrow (officially Phase 1) : schools will start uploading confirmed data from their respective school servers, into MOE centralized server.
There is a lot of work, to do.

When MOE IT department start receiving data from 100+ schools all over Sg, IT designated teams will start processing, quickly.
At around around 7.15 pm onwards thereabout, once everything finalized, MOE will post info onto her website to announce / broadcast : the Total number of Phase 1 candidates successfully been enrolled, in each school, for parents (public) to see.

Can advise how does the balloting works? I’m under Phase 2C and results will be out on 6 Aug so do we go to the school on 6 Aug when the balloting will start? Then if ballot is unsuccessful that day, do we rush to another school with vacancy for registration? Or do we have to wait for the next phase to register again?

I have never been thro balloting but balloting should be done after the phase is closed, so you have to wait for the next phase in order to register again in the event you are unsuccessful.

The school should inform you via sms or phone if there is balloting to be done.

If balloting is required, the school will inform you. Balloting date and time will also be given (usually during the phase 2C registration). You have the option to sit in and observe the entire balloting process or be absent. If you choose not to be present. The school will notify you if you are successful or unsuccessful.

                      \\

From what i understand, the MOE website gets updated once at the end of each registration day. As shared by phtthp, its about 7.15pm plus every evening(See above post). If you need real time update on applications received thus far, it may be better for you to call the school and check directly.

                        Hi,

Can anyone please advise? What are the chances of getting in Rulang in P2C for SC more than 2km away?

                        Thanks!
