I have been reading this thread since the beginning till now. Let me share with you guys about my brush wtih the supernatural. All these happened during my teenage and early twenties. Come to think of it, it has been quite long since I last encounter these things…

Scary Story 1 - This happened when I was probably abt 4 to 5 years old. We lived in the kampong and stayed in the house made of wooden planks and attap. As you know, the house is built with the wooden plank fitted very close to each other but still had a very thin gap among each other. One night about 9 to 10pm, I happened to turn to the front of the house. The door was beside it but it was closed. I suddenly saw the silluette of a ‘human figure’ ‘walk past’ our house. "Walked Past’ because I did not hear any footsteps outside and nobody would walked outside our house at that time of the hour. Though I was very young that time, I knew that I must have encounter ‘that thing’ but I kept it to myself and did not tell anybody until now…

Scary Story 2 - I think this encounter is more scary than the my first one above. It happened when I was about 12 years old. My parents, my brother and I went holiday at BKK & HK. Me and my brother fell sick and I was down with flu with no appetite throughout the whole trip. After BKK and the first night in HK, I went back to the hotel room to have an early rest. Me and my brother (3 years older than me) shared one room and my parents slept in the other room. You know how the hotel beds are, where the blankets are tucked in very tightly at the side of the bed. Since I was running a fever, I tucked myself in bed and went to sleep. Suddenly, I was woken up by what I thought was the morning call via the phone. I turned over and realised the phone did not ring. I then turned back and looked at myself only to realise that, hey, why was I sleeping on top on my bed without any blankets covering me. The bed was very neat with the blanket tucked nicely at the side. It’s as though I just lied on top the whole night. Remember I was sick, how could I not cover myself with the blanket. The next thing that came to my mine was the chambermaid must have come in to make the bed for me.
On second thought, I knew that it wasn’t possible as it was about 7 plus in the morning. I told my parents about it during breakfast and felt scarier and scarier as I thought about it after that. It meant to say that some unknown forces must have ‘lifted’ me up, tucked in my blanket and made my bed nicely before putting me down again…is it scary?

Scary Story 3 - These happened when I was about 16 to 17. It happened about 3 times and I only became very scared during the 3rd time it happend and told my parents about it to do something. You know we sometimes hear of people talking about the feeling of 鬼压床？You suddenly felt that you can’t move your body, as though some forces are pressing on you. You wanted to shout but your voice just could not come out? Scientist said that it is due to stress etc. when such things happened. I experienced 鬼压床 a few times prior to this and was all too familiar when it happened. However, this time round, what happened to me was all too real and totally different. The similar part is such that it always happened when you are in the ‘half sleep’ mode. The moment before you really fell asleep. The 1st time it happened, I was ‘half sleep’, suddenly, my whole body cannot move and when I tried to shout, nothing came out. Just then, I could feel the hand movements of ‘a man’ coming towards me and touching my body all over. EEeeerrrk! Can you believe it? I don’t know if anybody out there ever encounter this before as I have not heard of similar encounter till date. I tried very hard to struggle and shout and a while later, that ‘figure’ left and I could move my body again. I am very sure it is a man as I could make out that the hand belonged to a man, plus ‘it’ was touching my breast! However, I wasn’t very scared and did not tell anyboy about it.

The 2nd time it happened, it was in the afternoon and I was trying to sleep in my parents room. My dad was in the room sitting beside the bed doing his work. Then, it happened again. Just when I was going to fall asleep, I felt ‘it’ paralysing my body and ‘it’ came touching me again. I tried to struggle and finally it went off. I turned over to look at my dad and realised that he did not notice anything amiss about me. Even though I was struggling so hard to fight off that thing just now. I thought my whole body must be moving but it seems that it was only my mind struggling since my dad didn’t even realise. I still kept quiet but I grew more weary and wonder when that thing will come and disturb me again…

The 3rd time it happened in my own room. Just when I was going to fall asleep, I could sense that thing coming towards me and paralyisng my body. This time, I could sense 'his heavy hands coming from my neck (like he was behind my head and using his hands to grope me from the neck down). I could also sense ‘his’ heaving breathing and panting when his hands came down to touch my body. erm you know where. I started to struggle hard and tried to fight it off. This time round, I told myself that’s it. I was not going to tolerate it anymore! I started to feel really scared too and always felt stressful when trying to fall asleep. I don’t know when that ‘sex maniac’ will come and disturb me again!!!I told my parents the very next day. My parents took me to see a ‘shi fu’ at a temple in Geylang. When we told the ‘shi fu’ about it, he merely said that there was 血光 in my bed. He gave me a tailsment to drink and told us to throw away the bed. We did what the ‘shi fu’ told us and believe it or not, that thing never come and bother me anymore until now.
It is more than 10 over years since it last happened. Nowadays, sometimes I still wonder if it will come and disturb me but thank god, it never.

Hi guys, is it scary? I also have some other encounter after that. Will share will you guys next time. If you also experience similar things like that before, do share with me so I know that I am not alone…

Aiyo, ok, discounting the girls' defaced faces, that orange glowing face is still scary!!

If I were one of the girls that evening, I'd be freaked out, even now!!

I dunno if the following fits into this thread:


I was in JC when my friend’s classmate (whom I met only that one time) asked to read my palm. I was told by the others that her grandfather is a master in this and she has picked up some skills from him. I agreed out of curiosity. This is what she said about me then:
1. I will marry.
2. My husband will love me very much.
3. I will have children.
4. I will give up my career for my children.
5. I was very sickly when young but I will not die of (this) sickness.
6. I will live to a ripe old age.

Back then, I didn’t take this seriously even though she got the part correct about me being sickly when I was young. I was unattached and had no plans to marry, let alone have kids.

Last night, as I was feeding DD2, I suddenly recalled this and it kinda freaked me out a bit cos nos. 1-4 have come true. I doubt it’s a self-fulling prophecy since I generally don’t care much about such things and I had almost forgotten about this incident.

brilliant! it does make sense considering that's about where her face wld be if she had not lean towards her left

that being said, I remember yrs ago someone working for DBS and in the dept for IPO told us that whenever an IPO closed and then they do the sorting / tallying (it was still manual then) in a room in the auditorium building, pictures taken during these times would always feature a same face...which nobody knows or remembers noticing this person during the event!! :!:

Hi Gooby, u r not alone..... I had that experience too.....

It happened when I was abt 15-16 yrs old, one night as usual, I like to sleep on my side, facing the wall, suddenly, I have this strong feeling of a hand coming from behind n it grab my neck so tight that I was struggling for breath. When it finally went off, I wake up panting n sweating. I sleep with the lights on for the rest of the night. Thereafter, I always left a night light on n it didn't come to bother me since.
