I also feel phase 2A2 (> 2km) high risk this yr for balloting. Sigh.

This would mean there will be a mad rush for the 13 old boy/ girl to rent flat nearby to go for phase 2c. Hence is it good to have a cap when the probability of getting into the school may reduce as old boy/ girl can qualify for next two phases n add up the number to apply. I would think more will rent flat around the area or buy one since there is a new condo beside n the sale is poor. I believe the registration in 2016 will see a jump in parent volunteers as kaisu phase 2a2 may want to do so there to expand chances in all three phases n living within 1km.

                      Hi Parents,

My boy is currently in Pl. His chinese wasn't is best subject. Hence I did put him in Berries since K1 till now. The first half of the year, teacher feedback that he needs to improve by speaking more chinese at home, I think because he speaks Chinese with English accent.

Now 2nd semester had started, the teacher called me and say she would like to put my boy in another class (\"rainbow class\" I think). It for students who need more attention during chinese lesson. He will go to another class (currently total 9).

Does anyone know what \"rainbow class\" is? I never heard Nan hua have such a class before. Does it means my son is so poor that he have to be separated from his own class? I scared it will hurt his feelings and worse , he might dislike chinese!

I need some advise. The teacher did asked me if she can put him in the class, have not reply yet. :?:

The 彩虹班 (rainbow class) is for students tats weaker in chinese . Nan hua chinese standard is high and the pace is fast ... a smaller class can help the teacher focus more on the kids. When the teacher feels that the child has improve and able to follow the pace of his class then he will be out of 彩虹班 n back to his class during chinese lesson.
