Nan Chiau primary shut the door to Parent Volunteers scheme (Phase 2B)


When interviewed, the school told Straits Times that they do not have enough volunteer opportunities for the flood of hopeful parents -
many of whom will end up having to ballot anyway, despite having put in the hours.

Hi all, I just registered my boy into NCPS this morning. May I know do I have to call the school to check whether I got a confirmed place ? I thought of calling the school tomorrow after the result is out tonight , or should I wait for a few more days then call? I don’t want to sound too kiasu…lol Thanks

I think u shd have receive the green form and also notifies of orientation date

I rec’d a pink copy which is the parent’s copy after the registration . Maybe I should call tomorrow or Thursday to confirm whether my boy got it or not, just to be safe, if no, I cant sleep well at nite lol. Only 12 alumni members registered today .

I called the school this morning and the lady said they will send a letter to me but before I could ask her when will they send, she hung up

HI blissedsher and mc-007, I rec’d the green form today via post and there is a tick in the box which said application successful and the orientation date is 10 Nov 9am.
