What about holy innocent ?
balance for 2A2 = 106 -
m3i_m3i:
Wow if based on last yr p2a2 numbers .. St nic confirm ballot and CHS just made it with 1 spare ..St nik left 14 for 2A2, cathigh left 27 for 2A2
Both definitely ballot -
Can’t wait for all the phrases to be over.
-
Trying to find the page on the chances of balloting for p2a2… Think someone did a count b4
-
own pt of view - schools that will go into balloting at P2A2- Nan Hua, CHIJ St Nics, Henry Park , Catholic High
schools that might go into balloting at P2A2- SCGS, MGS, NYPS
luckily MOE reserved 40 places for P2B and P2C this year. If not, some schools like St Nics and Catholic High don’t even have to proceed to P2B. Who knows MOE might reserve 20 seats for P2A2 next year onwards? That is, before start of P1 reg , 60 places to be reserved for P2a2, P2b and P2c. Don’t know what will happen to P2A1 in 3 years time…can only plan for my DD2 which school to go to in 2017 for 2018 intake…just settled DS1 school today ,rest' for 3 years andbattle’ time again… -

@ end of Phase 2A1 (Tuesday, 8 July 2014) : born 2008 (year of Rat) )
out of Total 187 primary schools in Singapore –
131 schools : do not have any alumni.
only 56 schools have Phase 2A1 (alumni enrolment)
this means that (56 / 187 ) => 30 % of primary schools got alumni.
30 % is a small figure.
majority (70%) of primary schools do not have alumni.
from below -
one can roughly tell which schools most likely to ballot at Phase 2A2, this year (2014)
we may compare against past year (2013) enrolment statistics

hi floppy
I am just thinking if cant get in 2b , should i try 2c nyps or 2c rgps.
I guess i will just wait till 2b is over then think abt it.. leave it to fate.
Hi Okie.
I am in grassroots.
Almost guarantee of a place at the moment.
Your worst case scenario would be missing out on P2B and P2C.
this year, for parents with daughters :
with balance of 120 vacancies left : 2A2 @Rgps can't possibly consume so many.
a lot of balance will be left over, carried over into 2B and 2C.
2B don't need to ballot.
2B can just walk in, with ease.
your strategy can be :-
on first day of Phase 2B -
proceed to enrol your dd into Nanyang first, if you're PV
on last day of Phase 2B -
once you sense high risk in balloting at 2B < 1 km at Nanyang, withdraw and re-register at Rgps.
Make sure that you re-register, before 4.30 pm closing time.
best is around 2.30 pm, can go down already.
school nowadays are strict.
if you don't make it in time before cut off time, school will ask you \"Why so late then come here to register with us? Come back next Phase : 2C, to register your dd\"
( if you miss the closing time dateline set)
by withdrawing from Nanyang, you create a permanent record there.
if after whole Registration exercise is over and should vacancy arise subsequently, school can contact those, on Waitlist. -

Hihi phtthp, thank you very much for all your efforts and advice…hope to hear from you on my situation:
Within 1 km from Ai Tong under 2C but based on past records, its tough…should I just go for Guangyang instead?
Thanking you in advance:)
