if i applied at phase 2B and want to withdraw after monitoring the numbers at phase 2C, what should I do? can i register online for phase 2C? or have to physically apply at the school at phase 2C? both parents’ IC required for registering at phase 2C? and both parents’ IC required for de-registering at phase 2B?

You have to go in person (exactly like phase 2B) to the school you want to apply at phase 2C to submit your application. Once you submitted, you will have withdrawn from phase 2B.

Actually, i thought you have to withdraw from the school in Ph 2B first before the other school at Ph 2C can even accept your registration in the system. There can only be one registration for 1 child in the system at any one time?

                rains:
I don't understand why the phases must be done week by week. It doesn't take a long time to collate figures.

                2A1 is on Tuesday.

An efficient system in place could allow the next phase to commence on, say, Wednesday, and an inefficient one, Thursday?

Why must we wait for a week to register?
The wait and suspense is killing me.
The P1 Registration staff need time to rest, re-cuperate, before next new Phase begin.
The verification of documents from so many parents, is tedious.

                      toddles:
Hmmm at this rate schools like St nicks and Cat High might have to ballot at 2A1 next year...

St Nicholas and Catholic High are two schools that have turned parents' head, focus & attention onto them -
see in future how are they going to handle 2A1 over-subscription, going forward from today ?

they are the two schools that have the highest, fastest growing rate at 2A2, much higher than even Henry Park or Nan Hua.

Distance is still the pre-dominant factor, regardless of whether is Phase 2A, 2B or 2C.
For alumni under less than 1 km, even if they're sleeping or inactive, they still can enter, under 2A < 1 km.
balloting unlikely to apply to them.

However, for alumni > 2 km, in these Full schools -
Many know that this is no longer the period of era where they just pay alumni fees, and that's it.
Many know that they must also play an active, contributing role, in their alma mater. They must wake up from beauty sleep, be active again.
In the past when they were ex students, Yes, they were active.
Now, when come their children generation to enrol, they must be active, again.
This is good, because this will shut down complaints from (2B + 2C) green eyed monsters ' mouth that shout aloud \"abolish alumni. Remove all their privileged legacy ! Bla bla bla !\"

                      From past years' statistics -
A lot of alumni fall under > 2 km.

                      Question is -
Now with so many 2A1 residing > 2 km, even if 2A1 are willing to come back prepared to be active in their alma mater, get ready to fold up their sleeves & help out in schools' activities, the school must also be ready, for this to happen.

Currently, the activities for Alumni maybe insufficient, to cater to many alumni. This then is a challenge, for the schools, to manage this aspect
