Noโฆ no looming. But sheโs interested in clay modellingโฆ after we made a baby elephant for her science project by watching a youtube video. It was fun.

My boy is 8 years old only... Long way to go
When he asked me to buy the loom set for him, I was surprised \"huh, this is for the girls leh\" I told him
He replied \"but my school bookshop is selling and my few other boy classmates also wearing in tuition class\"
Actually I was delighted that I get to try out this loom bracelet with him. I thought lucky he likes to try out else I got no chance to buy coz I got no DD evil: -

Is looming an expensive hobby?
I have seen a basic pack of 500-600 bands (same colour) costs about $2-4, while the full pack with 4-6 different coloured bands and some basic loom equipment can be $8-10. You can find find them in Popular, Toys R Us and even \" ๆฐๅคฉๅฐ\" in United Square. I think you can get a very comprehensive set online for abt $15-20.
I haven't bought any for my kids yet (yes, even my DS is crazy about it) but they had received them for birthday presents. The basic structure are bracelets (simple and complex ones) but I have seen some very creative structures like bears, fruits, veggies, cartoon characters etc. Last night, my dd showed me someone from her school made taekwondo kids! Very nice!
