The best way is to check out when is the non-peak period with no school holidays. Then the queue will definitely be shorter.

        Re: Tokyo Disneyland

Has anyone been last week of Nov or 1st week of Dec ? How was the weather and crowd situation ? I definitely do not want to waste too much time queing up.
I've been there in 1st week of Dec. Weather was okay. Not that cold. We just wore unlined jackets/windbreakers and hats and jeans. We went for our usual rides, Alice's Tea Party, Dumbo, horse carousel, some go-kart thing. sashimi and DD1 queued while I took my time to stroll nearby since I'm not keen on rides anyway. I noticed that they didn't really wait long and the waiting times indicated are fairly accurate. We didn't try any of the more \"adventurous\" rides since DD1 was only 6 (we only did that one year later in June and with FastPass, we just went to explore other places/rides while waiting).

The only problem was that it got dark around 4-5pm so it's best to go early to make the most of your time there.

The crowd is definitely worse in tokyo then hk but the features in Tokyo slighy better. Best time to go might be winter for Tokyo but it mean cccolddd. Or just after peak season? I think there’s also this after dark ticket which is cheaper and crowd lesser.

            Hi,

I am planning to spend one night at HK Disneyland hotel - thing is, there are so many types of promotions that I got confused. Is the breakfast/dinner at Enchanted Garden worth it? Not sure if I should go with packages that provide breakfast, or just go for room only.

            Thanks!

I suggest take the breakfast, otherwise, you still have to pay a bomb for the breakfast at Disneyland itself.

Well I came back with a cough . . . but that's becuase I did not have enough sleep.

Anyway, weather was great 16-19C, foggy at nights and early mornings. Not terribly crowded, with quite a fair bit of Singaporeans/Malaysians and PRC tourists, of course.

We stayed at Disneyland Hotel and I was told it's the better of the 2. That I could not confirm. What I could confirm better is the shuttle buses to Disneyland. They pick up from Disneyland Hotel first, so we don't have to wait too long for it. By the time it goes to Hollywood Hotel, half the bus is full - poor guys staying in Hollywood will have to face a longer queue for buses.

No complains on the hotel, except for food - limited choices, average food and you're a captured audience ! If you know what I mean ! Nearest convenient store is . . . near the airport at City Gate Mall 😐 . We needed fresh milk for our kids - that cost us HKD220 return trip taxi to the Mall!

Overall experience was fantastic for my kids, of almost 5 and 3.5 years old. Queues to the rides/shows/performance are reasonable, except for occasional jostling. Well organized. Cantonese/English/Mandarin are widely used - so not problem in that department.

Another observation is that : I would expect the queue to the rides will consist mainly kids and adults with kids. But it's equally packed with adults alone !
