            XXXX:
            jkwleong:

            73 left for 2A2! All the best!

            Interesting - so a ballot is quite likely at 2A2 based on last few years (82 applicants is the last 4 years average, although last year was lower).

            Looks like there will definitely be less than 50 places remaining for 2B and 2C, and the 40 reserved places might end up being the total.

            2A2 enrolment for past 7 years (from 2013 to 2007) were :
            69, 86, 81, 91, 73, 62, 68

            Average enrolment = 530 / 7 = 76

            http://www.nyps.moe.edu.sg/admission/p1-enrolment-data/

            balance left for 2A2 = 73

            76 is not far off from balance, 73.

            If next week 2A2 enrolment can remain within or close to 73, by asking PRs to stand one side, possible that SC 2A2 may not ballot.

            This year 85 2A1 enrolled.
            Next year should expect to see 2A1 figure soar higher, fewer 2A2.
            As years go by, moving forward -
            will see more & more 2A1 enrolled, lesser & lesser 2A2.

                as of last evening --> http://www.moe.gov.sg/education/admissi ... ukit-timah

                yes, 10 seats left. if based on above average, 3 families will be disappointed liao, but they most likely will be staying more than 2km away from the school anyway...
