The Write Connection - Discussion

Hi hi!


My boy attends The Writing Enrichment class at The Write Connection. Every week, he will:

-write in class. He is taught different strategies, techniques and mechanics of creative writing.
- do a 2nd draft (homework) for the previous week’s writing which was done in class. His teacher provides a detailed feedback which enables him to fine tune his writing. I can see that his teacher puts in a lot of effort in doing this.
- do journal writing which allows him to ‘develop a voice in his writing’.
- learn from a given word list. I believe this strengthens his vocabulary.

The maximum class size is 10. He has had 2 teachers. Both are very passionate and professional. My son really enjoys his lessons at TWC.

How is their creative writing class?
Does Teacher mark essays in details?
& GIVE clear guidance on how to improve on each essay written?

I visited the place & pretty comfortable with their classroom setting of TWC but then I happened to go to Popular & spotted TAS books written by children and pretty impressed with it. So I can’t decide whether TAS or TWC? Anyone can provide feedbacks?

Anyone keen to register yr child into TWC for P1 preparatory program next year? The syllabus look good, however they need at least 4 children to start the class on Saturday. This program is for next year K2 child.

Anybody's children has attended The Write Connection at Parkway Branch? Your reviews are much appreciated.


I am interested to send my child to Parkway Branch for next year 2015 Pri 3 class. Friday evening from 7pm to 9pm. They need 4 pupils to start a class. If anyone of you are interested to form a group of 4 pupils for year 2015 Pri 3 class on Fri 7pm, please email me at [email protected].

U can make a trip to TWC at Parkway. The staff is helpful. She will show you their worksheets, 1 sample of the pupil’s work and how the teacher marks their composition etc…

Are you interested to let your child join the Pri 3 class next year on Friday, 7pm?
