      Hihi

How Is community leader different from grassroots leader ?

      Tia.

      All the same.

CL = GRL = Executive Members of GRO

These terms all mean the same, so long as one is a confirmed member of a GRO such as RC/NC etc.

It's a misconception that only Exco members (those who hold appointment) are GRL.

      Tim Tim and daddy2007, thanks!

        Confirm need to ballot..sigh

        Grl need not be SC?

No, PR also can, and there are many, not only PRC, also Indians.

from what i gathered, SC will have priority over PR regardless of the distance. for example, if SC stays more than 2 km, he/she will have priority over PR who stays less than 1km.

someone corrects me if i am wrong.

anyway, does anyone know how many applicants already for Hong Wen under Phase 2B up until now? I am asking for my group of friends who are in this phase. thanks!

                  Checked moe website.

Pink nric is not given priority only in phase 1.

For all other phases, the following is applicable.

Singapore Citizens (SCs) will be given absolute priority over Singapore Permanent Residents (PRs) when balloting is necessary in a specific phase. SCs and PRs will continue to be eligible for the same phases, and all applicants will be admitted if the total number of applications in any phase does not exceed the number of vacancies. However, if the number of applications exceeds the number of vacancies in a specific phase, SCs will be admitted first ahead of PRs, before home-school distance is considered.

Think Teck Ghee & Kuo Chuan better than Mayflower.

Kuo Chuan has affliated Secondary school.

Don't waste time enrol on first day, and withdraw on third day (last day).
                    Just monitor the figures closely.
On the last day, then go down to register, after you decide.

Thanks a lot! u think I should try Kuo Chuan even though i stay > 2km? i came from KCPSS myself though this affiliation counts for nothing in Primary sch registration.

Or should i just go straight to Teck Ghee?

                    On phase 2C
Last year Kuo Chuan balloted SC 1-2km & 2years ago balloted SC >2km
Last year Teck Ghee balloted SC >2km & 2years ago balloted PR >2km

Better you wait until last day 2C to decide which primary has better chance

@carilyn thanks! but if my friends who are all SC and all stay less than 1km, they will get it no?

unless sway sway SC less than 1km kena have to ballot…
