P2C is the most competitive because there is no restrictions, anyone can apply. If you are <1km for Huamin, you are 99.9% safe.

Ehh actually I am still considering between NL & HM. Anyone has feedback on the 2? We managed to attend HM open house which NL doesn’t offer any. Are allow to take a tour of the school on the registration day itself?

I went for huamin primary openhouse too…it was ok, but still undecisive on which schools to choose,coz my son student care closes at 730pm and the studentcare is behind yishun primary. but yishun primary is 1 -2 km from my house.

My son likes HM after the open house, we also felt that the environment is quite good. Just wondering why has this school not been among the favorite throughout the years. Is it due to their academic records?

I think it's not fair to say Huamin is not among the favourite. If you look at Yishun, there's only 1 clear cut favourite. The rest are more or less the same - their 'popularity' is very much influenced by the number of Phase 1 applicants.

Just thought to update mummies here. I went to Northland & Huamin in the morning. NL is over subscribed (more than last year), balloting is a must for SC < 1km. For HM, was told there’re about 30 seats left.
