The nearest school happens to be a SAP school...the rest are all few bus stops away...we are just commoners who have to work and do not drive so distance is main concern...so not much of a choice...[/quote]carilyn:

Ya lor...we just need to cross an overhead bridge...really a neighborhood school to us!!!!
A friend who enrolled the son last year...he tot the neighborhood school sure no problem...to his horror....full house! End up they send him to the nearest school which is quite a number of stops...and mind you, it's a good school...but then it really poses big problem for him coz he has 2 younger children attending nearby childcare...so he has to try here try there...luckily in the end he still manage to get his son into the neighborhood school (which is just across the road)......the son attended the other school for a few days and boy, the few days was totally chaotic and disastrous for the family... -
