          Dear Okea,

It’s great to hear that you’d be joining us for the MY SG Charity Fund-Raising event on 12 August 2014 at the Star Performing Theatre. :rahrah:

Children aged 3 years and above must purchase a ticket for admission. Children under 3 years of age may be admitted free of charge provided they do not occupy a seat (they must be seated on the lap of a parent).

We hope to see you and your family on that night! 🕺

Would like to check if both parents need to be present at the school for Phase 2C Registration next week? Can only 1 parent come with the necessary documents?

              TIA!

                Hi Strawberry mummy,
Just one of the parent need to be present with all the necessary documents. I was there alone to register for my daughter last year. Welcome to the West Spring family.

:thankyou: LFC4ever for helping the school out with the forum replies. :goodpost:

We’re so blessed to have a good team of supportive parents who partner with us in educating our West Springers holistically, and who feel a part of our West Spring family. :hi5:

Yes, Strawberry mummy, LFC4ever is correct in saying that only one parent needs to be present at the school on the registration days.

A very warm welcome to you & your child to our West Spring family in Jan 2015!

                        Dear Potential Parents,

Shown below are responses which we recently shared with a parent who made enquiries and which we thought useful to share with the rest of you as well.

                        1) Recess for P1s & P2s will be at different time slots to allow students to have sufficient time to buy their food.

                        2) There'll be no exams in P1.
There'll be end of year exam in P2.
In order to allow students to transit from kindergarten to a primary school, assessments will be conducted in bite-sizes on a regular basis each term. These bite-sized assessments may take the form of pen & paper / oral or execution of simple tasks & lasts a few minutes each.

                        3) Students are not banded at such a young age. They are taught according to their needs. Hence, we use differentiated instruction & approaches to better help students in their learning.

                        4) There's a student care already in operation in school. It's operated by Pro-Teach, a very well-established student care provider in Singapore.

You are strongly encouraged to visit our school website http://www.westspringpri.moe.edu.sg to get a better idea of our school. Many parents had already done so and given their vote of confidence in our holistic programmes offered. Each week, we have about 1500 visitors to our school website.

We look forward to welcoming you & your child to our West Spring family next year. 😄
