Any parents here with child learning ballet from TSOD in Yishun ave 5? Any reviews on their current teachers or teaching method, syllabus? I am thinking to enroll my daughter to TSOD in Yishun under the teacher of Miss Wu Jiamin.

Would like to hear some reviews and feedbacks from current parents before making a decision. Thanks!!

The MC online is really boring. Not easy to navigate and not a single information helps. When i tried to access the parents forum, it says i am not authorised. Then whats the point of having a forum?


Anyway the mc online gives people a very \"cold\" feel. Unlike this forum. I really hope we can have more engagement and chat here for parents to get to know other parents, share info and discuss on school work, cca or even other activities that we can organise for our kids during sch holidays or weekends.

This forum is especially useful for parents who are busy at work and have little time to understand more about the sch or the kids learning path. it will be good if parents can share how their kids are coping, adapting well in school etc.

Hopefully this forum can come back alive again.

Any parents here have their child enrolled with Pro-Teach? Can share your experience with pro-teach, their services etc?

Apparently my girl (P1 2015) told me that she was only given 5 mins for tea-break and thus could not finish her food in time. Also, based on what my girl told me, she said that the lunch provided is not enough. For the past few days, when i picked her up at 5pm, the first thing she said is that she is hungry and very tired. I am worried that pro-teach is not doing their best to take care of these children. It seems like my girl is feeling more tired as compared to when she was in full day childcare. I tried to ask her to take a short nap by resting her head on the tables but she seems quite afraid, saying that nobody does that and she is worried of being reprimanded by the pro-teach staffs.

Any feedback from parents will be greatly appreciated. TIA

Can I check if the school term at West Spring for 2015 will start on 2 Jan 2015 or will it be 5 Jan 2015? I heard some schools will start on 5 Jan instead even though MOE calendar starts from 2 Jan.

Appreciate clarification.

Happy that there is no balloting!! Yeah!! Looking forward to my gal’s six years of education with WS! The journey of choosing the pri schools hasn’t been easy for us (esp since our choice was always CHIJ until WSPS came about in 2014). We were glad that we made it to the school’s open house earlier in June which actually gave us the final affirmation that our choice was right to choose WS. Really love the way that you guys do to engage with parents. Even after attending the orientation, I still constantly received updates through emails or via the forum. Good job!

Hope you guys can keep up the good job and I am sure that my girl will enjoy her education here in WS!

I am asking on behalf of my aunt. Wondering if anyone has the breakdown of Jiemin Pri Sch in Yishun? Saw from MOE website that there are 71 places but with 82 students. Anyone has any info if SC within 1km need to ballot?

Have successfully registered my girl at WSPS this afternoon! Heard from the lady who attended to us that we should be quite safe as we are SC and within 1km. Also had a chance to visit the daycare service centre and was impressed with the students there. One of them actually greeted me and my husband \"Good Afternoon\" while we were standing at the entrance! What a lovely and polite student!

We are looking forward to joining the West Spring family!! :rahrah:
