Both ACS Barker primary and SJI Junior, fall under Moulmein-Kallang GRCHi
From what I read in the thread, means if I stay in kallang Moulmein area, means I can only join as grl in this constituency and then apply to the schs within this constituency?
I would like to try to apply for st Joseph's IJ or acs barker. Which constituency do they belong to ah. Son will be p1 in 2018.
Appreciate ur advices.

Many thanks again phtthp!
So how does one actually applies to be a grassroots leader? This is something new to me as previously I joined the sch as PV. But this other sch doesn’t accepts PV. -

Phtthp, ask u
I saw the history for Sjij acs pri and acs barker for 2b.
Balloting is required for both acs sch within 1km.
I live 1-2km from these 3 schools. So even if I go via 2b phase, acs is totally no chance right? Only Sjij has chance coz balloting is done for more than 2km. -

GRC/SMC which u serve in & GRC/SMC which u live in for this year (this is usually the same).daddy2007:
Can I just confirm is it grassroots leader can only apply to schools from own grc from next year or the year after next ?
the year after next
If there is a way to use GRL to apply in other GRC/SMC, please tell me.
your example give is for RC and NC. for GRLs to be appointed in CCMC and CCC, you dont need to be where you reside -
But my understanding is regardless what n where u serve, u can only apply schools where u reside.

Yes, PA has changed the ruling to take effect for the 2017 intake onwards -
Hi,
I would like to find out the following from the experts here.
I am staying within 1km to Maris Stella High and have been serving in the local NC for > 1year. My son will be registering for P1 in 2015 (study in 2016). I think I m not caught by the new rulings where GRLs need to serve 2 years.
What I m concern is whether I can apply for the schools near my home under the old P2B scheme?
The new rules indicate that GRLs can only apply for schools within the constituency the GRLs serce. Correct me, if I m wrong.
Appreciate all advice.
sorry to side track a bit… i am thinking to join a RC/NC too to do volunteering. I would like to know the amount of work involved in this as I am working. Roughly how many hours do we need to spend per day or week… thanks in advance for the information. -
Can anyone advise what is the difference in the work and time commitment for GRL in RC/NC vs CCC/CCMC?
Thanks! -

You need nomination to go into CCC/CCMC. Default all go RC/NC firstCan anyone advise what is the difference in the work and time commitment for GRL in RC/NC vs CCC/CCMC?
