You can go for Rosyth and try since you are within 1km. Confirm you got a chance to ballot. If can't get in, your backup can be Yio Chu Kang Primary in Phase 2Cs.Hi all
I am having a dilemma. super stress lately with all these registration. I will be in the race in P2C.
My 1st choice is Rosyth ( within 1 km), but the chances are likely to be 3 kids to 1 vacancy.
My 2nd choice is either XinMin ( within 1 KM) likely to ballot( maybe 70 - 80% of chance in getting a seat) or CHIJ OLN ( within 1 to 2km), likely to ballot also ( prob also 70-80% chance in getting a seat) ( Am I right in my calculated risk?? haha)
I prefer CHIJ OLN, but I have a DD and a DS( who is born on dragon year) I am worried for my DS's registration in 2018. ( surge in dragon babies)
What should I do?
It's quite disappointing to see that most sch ballot for <1km. Leaving no chance for those leaving further away.
Some people are lucky to have a few schools to choose from within 2km while some have none even within 1km (read from some ksp posts). So is this a case of poor estate planning by lumping a few schools so close to each other? :?
I would think so. Cos for me, I have 3 schools within 1km and another 3 within 1- 2km, total 6 schools to choose from. Though non are the so called branded schools except for 2, I can't ask for more.
12 mum, where do u live? I am so curious -

The reason why YCK is not in my list as there is no direct bus from my residence to YCK primary. In the event, my DD has a remedial class or CCA where my mum has to fetch her from sch, it is not convenient...Same reason for the rest of the schs left for P2CS around my area.

Bt Panjang most likely need balloting for <1km so she doesn't stand a chance.I2az:
Helping a friend to seek advice...
She is staying within 1km of Greenridge and 1-2km of Bukit Panjang Primary, will be registering her child for phase 2C.
Would you advise that she try Greenridge or Bukit Panjang Primary for next week's registration?
Can anyone advise?
Arigato!

Hi yuuri. BPPS most likely ballot for < 1 km? U mean even for SC? -
I was looking around these 2 schools, xinmin n CHIJ OLN, it seems that CHIJ has a more interesting programmes. In terms of academy excellence , Iβm not too sure. Anyone have any comments on the 2 schools ? The CHIJ OLN website definitely is more impressive with alot of updated information. For xinmin, itβs pretty dryβ¦
Thatβs why I actually prefer CHIJ OLN more than xinmin. -
Any parents whose kids in BPPS can share how many applicants SC <1km last yr (2013), phase 2C?
BPPS phase 2C left 68 vacancies. What are the chances of getting in? SC <1km.
Appreciate any advice! Thanks! -
