nope. according to the onemap.sg thingy, we are in the 1-2km range.

We are staying opposite of hougang primary school and within 1km of Rosyth.. is it worth to try out Rosyth under 2C first and if we are not able to get a place, then we would try Hougang Primary School. Is it wise to do so?

If stay within 1km from HPPS and SC, I think HPPS may give you better chance. This year they reserved 20 seats and HPPS has 25 application last year for p2c vs Fairfield 66 application for 25 seats.

If you are unsuccessful at Rosyth in 2C, i'm afraid there would not be any vacancies for Hougang Primary in 2CS.
