Distance-wise, it's not much different. However, the route to LV@Alpha from my husband's office can be a nightmare. That was the only reason why we didn't go with LV, and this reason is still valid today. A short journey from my husband's office to LV@Alpha, without any traffic jam, takes 5 minutes. During peak hours, it can easily take up half an hour, at least. :!:In this case why not u go to LV ??? since NUS staffs still enjoy the special rate by this month ... i still have to pay a huge sum .. heart pain lei ..

I think your boy will be in good hands.
Usually, parents are allowed in the childcare centre during the first three days. However, you can't really see anything because your son will know you are around, and he may not feel the difference.
The real test comes after the three-day. Parents are not allowed in the childcare centre, and separation anxiety may set in. My boy took one whole month to get used to the centre.
I think you may need to assure him that you are sending him to school not because of his sibling, in case he gets the wrong idea. In addition, try to talk to him more often after he goes home. He may or may not understand, though, but never mind. The most important thing is let him know that his daddy and mummy still love him as much.
You are putting him on half day, right? -
The centre in Alpha only have full day .
I intend to out him maybe on 2 weeks half day than slowly let him go to full day .
I try to talk to him as often as i can that he'll be going to school soon to make new friends n learn new things.... but i don know if he understand what i'm trying to tell him
I'll just hope for the best . -
Want to find out the following from various branches in LV
1. Transparency - are you informed of resignation of the teacher in-charge of your kid? If you are, how long before?
2. Replacement - how long it take for the replacement teacher to come? If there is no replacement teacher for 1+ mth, does that constitute a violation to the mcys child-to-teacher ratio?
3. Replacement - are you informed of the replacement teacher’s experiences, is it on par with the previous one? -
Anyone having their toddler in this branch? How is the centre like? Is it the same as the one at biopolis or this shall be a better one?

Hi Fion!
Is today your son’s first day in LV@Alpha? How’s he?
