Hi mummyofthree, today just register in the morning. There are a lot of crowds too.. Nw also confuse on wat to do? So worried on my chances. My 2nd choice also gng full too...

Yeah! Making the switch over to Greendale pri., next nearest sch. Anyway if ballot out, would prefer Greendale than Punggol Green which is much further!

Those schs with full registration will not open for 2C supp already, right?

As my understanding the school will call the parents who are staying beyond 1km to reconsider other schools. If not u can call the school tmr to check yr chances… I’m also surprise on the over-application

Hi luvmummy, did u go for the open house in greendale? How u think? Me still thinking the 2nd choice either greendale or punggol green. Heard quite a lot of negative comments for greendale too.. Making me so worried..

Hi mummyofthree, u mean tml they will call those beyond 1km, thought they will do so only on the last day? It seems like the area all within 1km as the estates are very near to each other.

My understanding is the school will start to call earlier and not the last day. It will not be fair to parents to be informed on the last day. Last yr, my girls’ SCC one of the teachers even told me tat some parents were even inform on the day of application if their house is beyond 1km. Anyway it is still best to know earlier if needs to switch. I dont think any parents like balloting.

Yap. Gd if sch will inform earlier so we can still decide if we want to make the switch. At least can still go our 2nd or 3rd choice. Otherwise, what I m afraid is if both my 2nd/3rd choice also full, then I really don’t know how? Other schs maybe further!

Parents do not want to take higher risk by not register their children in MTS & NCPS, therefore chose Horizon as their 1st preferred choice & that could be the reason for the oversubscribed.
