Yes, it was removed in Apr this yr. Saw the P letter.
      If this news is true,

2023 Year 3 SIP students will be the last batch

School may reduce number of DSA applicants for non academic areas or
increase the COP for all DSA applicants

Since almost all NYGH students will move to HCI for their Year 5 & 6,
applying HCI (JC) from O level route could be tougher since less seats are available

      Just my thoughts ~

NYGH COP was AL7D, not AL6D.

So AL6M stands a very high chance to get in.
Situation will be different every year especially for this year 2023 PSLE takers, (IP course will be hot).
In fact, there is not much seats left after considering pools of NYPS affiliation students and successful DSA applicants.

Of course you can always give it a try even if its AL8.
      I could be wrong.

What are the chances of getting into NYGH with 6M? TIA.
      AL5 is sure in
AL6D may require balloting depending on how many students applying each year.

Foresee many parents will push for IP instead of O level.
Schools with IP course could be more difficult to get in.
No matter how MOE/Minister does, it is always stressful to parents.

Websites showing score chart matching which schools are confusing parents.

How is 7D and 7M score ranking lower than 7 ?
The ranking after 6 should be 7D, 7M, followed by 7…

Hi parents, would like to check something, for the booklet A vocabulary section, last question about the people leaving their food, did your children put abandoned or discarded?[/quote]
Think you are referring to the question asking for “countless”.
      abundant, countless... (not abandoned).

May I know for year 1 students, is it advisable to keep their P6 Maths & Science worksheets and notes from enrichment centre ? I am thinking whether to keep them or dispose them after PSLE exams. Any advice ?

Hi! I’m a S2 student and I would say that based on my experience last year, usually Secondary 1 students wouldn’t really need their P6 Math and Science worksheets, as the content taught is quite different (i.e. no modelling, new topics that are totally different being taught).

      Hope that helps!

      Thanks, RedString !
