Abandoned... DS chose discarded but based on the sentence he recalled, i believed it should be abandoned

May I know what is the original word to be substituted? DS also chose discarded, but he couldnt remember why, and I had to end the call. He said something like you cant abandon food, and synonym for discard can also be like cast aside.

Think you are referring to the question asking for “countless”.
abundant, countless... (not abandoned).

My gal says the topic is : LOSING SOMETHING.
