2014 P1 Registration Exercise for 2015 In-Take

Exactly! It seems that the school does not have up-to-date data on the internet submission. And then, later tonight, when MOE publish the data, there is no info on the distance. Why can’t all schools publish the distance info and whether SC or not at the end of everyday. Doesn’t this save the hassle of everyone calling up the school and admin staff picking up endless calls asking about the same thing. There is nothing secretive about such info, isn’t it?

Just registered at SA they do not put up any information but did ask them within 1km is 30 plus as of now (not including online registration for today) balloting required for more than 2km PR no chance...

The admin lady said PR totally no chance so I guess all are Singaporeans... I didn't ask abt 1-2km as I'm within 1km sorry...yes numbers are current to 3pm exclude today online registration...
Don't understand why they can't be more open like other schools even I called the school yesterday evening they didn't give me the info just said come down to apply....

incl online registration.

So i guess as previous years i will have to ballot.

When you withdraw from a school, do you need to show any documents like birth cert or parents IC? Tomorrow I will be standing by at the Phase 2A school waiting to withdraw while my husband monitors the Phase 2C school, which one of us should be holding on to the ICs?

The competition at Phase 2C is likely to be very high this year. If your Phase 2A school is close to you, you might as well stick with it instead of tempting fate. If you want to switch, do it for logistical reasons, and not because you think the other school is better.

To answer your question: You will need both parents' NRICs to withdraw, but you only need 1 parent to be present.

Thanks! My Phase 2A school is too far away but is a top school - Rosyth. I registered only as a backup. It is not feasible to go there as they don't even have school bus to my area.

Yes I will have fierce competition at Phase 2C schools near my home, Fairfield and Henry Park. I am really in a dilemma.
