Hi Chief Kiasu,

Thank you very much for your post on how to withdraw and register at another new school.

Just want to ask if the school I am withdrawing from will accept the photocopies of the NRIC instead?
Is it better to have the original ICs at the school I am registering at?

I am clueless here. Please advise!

        Hi Jace,

These numbers does not include online application right?

Sorry i didn't ask! slipped my mind totally.
Tomorrow need to ask again as MOE's nos tonight wont have the distance breakdown
This yr seemed a very good chance for those staying <1km within ATS. :rahrah:

            Hi Chief Kiasu,

Thank you very much for your reply.

The reason why I hesitate is because if I take PEPS, logistic wise, it is the most convenient for us. But I also heard South View is better academic wise. I also heard South view is a quite disciplined school and gives students a lot of home works and a lot of remedial lessons. My son is a very playful boy, so I am a bit worried, if he goes to South view, he will feel quite stressful.

Wish we could know more about these two schools so that we can make a better decision.

South View Psle results academic standard better than Princess Elizabeth.

            Stay put at South View.
            Do not come out.

It actually depends on what u want. For example for me, I'm an old student of Henry park and my hb is from south view. Both are good school but We make a decision to apply for princess elizabeth due to logistics wise. I have another kid which need to enrol next year so for me is just 1yr difference for both kids. Have a friend which is a teacher she mentioned the princess is a good school also. South view bus fare is about $150per mth for this year. All school is good school, it's a 6years education not 1year. So you think what you want.

South view more homework, more remedial plus more time spent on travelling=more time lost. I just think $150 bus fare also not worth to pay . better to use that $150 on 1 enrichment class which you now also have more time for?

                Hi,

I registered my daughter in Chua chu kang primary. Just saw the updates, the figures have exceeded. Just wondering if anyone has the breakdown? I live less than 1 km range. Thanks

I am within 1 km to Rgps and nyps. I think I will have good chance at RGPS but I am a younger son registering in few years time. Should I try my luck at NYPS?
