Balloting for >2km for 2 seats....

I was told at closing that it was 26/3 and 1 place left for all over 2km to ballot for. Didn't know how many were balloting for phase 2C over 2km.

Just sharing my experience.
I did 1.5 years of PV to qualify for Phase 2B so we stand another shot frba school that’s next to put home.
It wasn’t easy having to perform the duties religiously for twice a week over 1.5 years.
When the time came for school registration, instead of feeling the stress I actually felt sense of relief.
It dawned upon me that I have truly done all I possibly could to put ourselves into Phase 2B registration. There was not much more we could have done and it’s not in our hands now…
The feeling of doing my best was great,regardless of obtaining a slot in that school.

Do u mean 2 withdrew fr SAJS? Perhaps they joined over to sji. I could have been the 3rd...

22 for 20 is high chance. If u are not successful, put straight on wait list. I'm very sure u have a chance to get in then we can all network together.

I'm also grumbling to hb abt Sjij....so near yet so far and then half hearted me. Lol

Still feeling lousy and heart still heavy.

1 factor is my mother is staying within the sch vicinity. 2nd, SAJS has always been our 1st choice . 3rd, my hubby tik it's quite high chance for 22/20. And lastly we were too tired and can't risk going over to sji in case whatever happen last min.

Console myself that perhaps even in end if son has to go to mixed sch may be a good path for him. I always prefer mixed sch anyway.

Actually we were all quite lucky that there were 2 withdrawal after 4pm. I was telling the staff can't they absorb the 2. Only 2!

Best of luck to us. I pray for the best outcome for son. And hopefully we can be in parent network gp!

Haha. Why u also got the same feeling as me to w/d SAJS and try sjij ah?
It's the first year it seems that balloting is outside 2km. Past history all shows 1-2km.

I've another \"chance\" in 2018 in take.
But by then, many condos and new BTO are built Liao...more competitions...
Seriously hoping I didn't make the wrong choice today.

I want to try SJI but didn't dare take the risk to ballot in 1-2km lol
