Hi, I am an old girl from River Valley Primary School. Due to long distance, I decided to enrol my child in Palm View. Has a good impression during the open house and really hope that principal and teachers will continue to cultivate good values and fun learning environment to the students there. Once again, I feel that teachers are really absolute importance in each classroom . The only thing that caught my surprise during the open house was the story-telling session - one of the teachers was speaking broken English to the visiting kids. I didn’t take this much into account until hubby told me the same thing. Went for a second visit and realized that the same teacher was leading a rowdy class. It doesn’t help when she remained stone faced. Therefore I believed that teachers are important. The next class we observed was well mannered and orderly.

Congratulations on getting a place for your child in Palm View.
I personally feel that you should direct your well-intended feedback to the school. Perhaps the teacher was a mother-tongue teacher who may not be so well-versed in English but so happen she was covering someone during that open house. But no matter what, such constructive feedbacks are important (1) for the school to improve in their staff allocation, etc and (2) for the personal development of the teacher involved.
I do hope you will give your feedback to the school.
On another note.. the stress of registration is over.. next will be the first-day-of-school stress.. hahahahahahha -
Hi Cyranocrash,
Thanks!! I will continue to observe and will definately feedback if need be. By the way, how do you find the student care services so far? Any reviews? -

I like their programmes. Another student care that I feel has very good programmes is Raffles Student Care. They are also nearby.Hi Cyranocrash,
Thanks!! I will continue to observe and will definately feedback if need be. By the way, how do you find the student care services so far? Any reviews?
But then again.. what is good for me may not be good for others.
So.. best is to come and take a sneak peek and have a chat with them. -
Where is the raffles student care located at?
