2010 DSA(Direct School Admission)

MMM:
None of those. There's is no \"official\" cut-off point for students accepted under DSA, and it would not be in the official statistics.phankao:
It depends on the sec school to set the points. For most schools, just making the express stream cut-off points will do (for some schools, this is 188, for some, they take 200).
I noted that there are 2 cut off. Eg. affiliation and non-affiliation. So in the case of DSA, which do we apply? My niece was telling me affiliation.
Also, any idea what is SYF certification?
Eg, a rather popular mission school's affiliated cut-off point is usually 245, but for those they take in under DSA, they set a cut-off point of 220.
For another popular premier school, the DSa cut-off could simply be 200. And for another specialised school, the DSA cut-off could be 188.
These are all examples. The cut-off for DSA depends on school to set. -

Mathsparks, u mentioned photocopy school results and awards from p4 - p6. do i need to ask the school to certify all copies - that will be quite a lot if including all the CCA awards, maths olympiad, mathalympics, NSW awards (distinction and high distinction for 3 subjects in p4,p5). We’re trying for 2 schools and there’ll be everythingx2. Need to bring all the certificates to the admin for them to check ? Hope the admin will not give me black face. or do i only need them to certify the school results ? my dd’s school is not too "on"; i think only less than 5 students will try DSA.
