2014 P1 Registration Exercise for 2015 In-Take

If we withdrew our application from a school and was unsuccessful in balloting… any chance to appeal to go back to the school we withdrew from? Just asking… even though I know the chance is low… or even ZERO…

Hi jaster
It can be upsetting and frustrating. I went thru in phase 2c and nearly went thru balloting in phase 2c sup.
I gave up registering at hong wen. I had register as a PV, but decided not to in the end. Last year was really hot. It looks like with this year moe move to allocate 20-20, the numbers kind of lowered down a lot. Even at the sch where I was balloted in 2c, there’s no balloting this year for SC.
Hurry put urself on wait list. -

I'm very sorry to hear that. You are unlucky to have to go through all the trouble of finding another school. But that's it. Who knows, the school you get in Phase 2C(S) might actually be the one that allows your kid to shine best. In the end, it is how much chemistry your child have with the school and the teachers that really matters. Can't believe my rotten luck. Hong Wen School, got balloted out of Phase 2B, 47 seats: 56 applied, again at Phase 2C, 47 seats: 67 applied.
Those are good odds, with more than 70% chance. And I still can't get in.
Well, I guess s#*t happens. Just letting off steam. I must be one of the most unlucky parent in this forum. Sigh
Congrats to those who are successful. -

You have to wait for phase 2C Supp to open, find out that school you want still got vacancies or not ? -

I don't think you have a chance unless the school have vacancies left in the official exercise. Your priority in the wait list will be very low, as you had given up your place earlier. That is the price that parents must pay if they withdraw from successful registration at schools. I think a lot of parents do not understand the implications of withdrawals very well. -
no more vacancies… want appeal n want to put on waiting list
