I am considering which one to select, currently Bao Ta already full, seems like no other choice…
Thanks and welcome any feedback from mummies whose kids in any of the student care now.

Hi Ivy,
Welcome to the MBS family!
Based on my experience last year for my P1 kid:
School textbooks: About $140 if I remember correctly (Note: Not necessary to buy ALL the \"optional items\" like color pencils, water-colors if you already have a lot at home)
School uniform: 3 dresses and 2 sets of PE attire (usually there is 2 days for PE). About $15 per dress/per set I think.
School shoes: 2 pairs from Bata (the school uniform supplier does sell school shoes on that day too but not BATA brand)
By the way, I remembered the school bookshop brought along a lot of assessment books to sell too on that P1 buying textbook day, but after buying some, I realise their assessment books are a bit outdated, so I kind of regretted buying. So maybe you go to Popular to browse assessment books first before deciding whether to buy on that day. Some friends also told me from P2 onwards should compare school textbook prices with Popular's prices and Popular may even be cheaper with the 5% discount from Maybank credit card included. But I guess for P1, to save the hassle, can buy from school textbook first for the first year. P2 then go and source around and just buy the exercise book and stuff with school logo from the school bookshop if you want. Just my humble opinion, hope it helps.
And oh yeah, can also join the parent volunteer group on an adhoc basis during the orientation day in end-December if you are interested. On an on and off basis, the Parent Support Group will sms me if they need volunteers for school events and I will participate when I am free. It is actually quite fun and kids love it when they see us joining in. Can also use this as an opportunity to 'spot-check\" on the kid to see if how they behave well in school......
