No, we are within one km from the school. Looking forward to 2016 when the school shifts back to Hillcrest! My girl can then walk to school.

Go to school:
Do girls need bring school bags tomorrow ? I think only waterbottle enough?
Eat breakfast at home first, because no recess.
No need to bring school bag.
Just bring pencil case, water bottle.
Wear any red T-shirt inside, pinafore outside -

Hi! Anyone is a PV here?
I’m wondering how many parents join as PV after their girls got into RGPS. I’m considering now that my girl will be in Pri One next year. But as I’ve got a younger one at home, my time isn’t all that flexible (I won’t be free when the younger one comes back from her sch) since I rely on myself as I do not have a maid.
Any advice? -
Hi Winnieng 78, :congrats: to your family first of all..
yes, we are also staying at West Coast.
Did you go down personally to register or did it online? -
While i am pretty excited for my girl to start her pri school journey with rgps next year, her reaction so far has been \"is it really an all girls school, no boys?\" and i can sense a bit of uncertainty in her tone  ..... maybe bcos her current childcare is mixed school and she has a couple of childcare good friends who are boys, and her elder cousins go to mixed schools so she kind of associated that with all pri schools....
:scratchhead:
Hmm... looks like i need to find ways to excite her a bit starting from now, maybe get her to visit the rgps webpages, and read the Raffles Bubble publications there etc
Any other suggestions? -

The pv activities are not compulsory. You can sign on for those that you have time for as and when you are able to. So it's quite flexible. -
Hi All…

All parents who have successfully enrolled their daughters into our school, are welcome to join PSG (Parents Support Group).

When PSG send out email to all currently enrolled parents (from P1 to P6) specifying full detail of activities to invite parents to join on which specific dates of activities within the current Term, parents can respond, by submiting a form online, to indicate their interest to participate in school's PSG activities.
After receive the online form submission, the Head of PSG will then contact the respective keen parents. PSG is always happy to look forward to parents participating in our school's activities.
PSG is different from PV.
PSG is for parents whose children are currently enrolled and studying in our school, from P1 to P6.
PV (Parent Volunteers) is for parents whose children are in kindergarten, but wish to gain entry into Rgps, via Phase 2B of Primary 1 Registration exercise.
As of today (may change in future), PV need to clock 60 hours.
