Thanks. Tried. Hopefully there's chance.

How do they judge based on GAT results? Was told by GAT they will send the results to school by about end Jul and school says they should be calling students for interview early Aug.

Madness about Y.LEAD.

What’s happening to RV??? Some Year 4 students were made to take their English tests while seated on the floor for 1.5 hours yesterday. This is very unfair for the affected students. How can the school expect them to do well in uncomfortable conditions? I can’t believe such things are happening in a school like RV.

MANY good EL/GP teachers left over the last 2 years. Anyone knows if there is something wrong?

To get in RVHS, must your Chinese results be very good?

Hello!

I would just like to know that if the child does not take HCL in p6, will she still be able to get into RVHS?

Thanks in advance.

Just like other government schools, it is common for teachers to leave after a few years stint. It may even be more so for RV as a higher standard is expected from the teachers and more stress is expected. I used to have a friend who taught RV, quite fedup as he was always asked by management to reset test papers (the reason was that the questions he set were too easy). After he transfered to another top school, he has no such complaints anymore....

I think RV can invest more on school culture and to built up a soft attraction that retain good dedicated teachers...it will also help to attract more and better students...
