Yup only DisneySea as 2 of our 3 kids are already 17 and 14 and we have been to Orlando twice so just thought we'll do DisneySea since it is different from the usual Disneyland.Dnls_mum:
Planning to be in Tokyo in dec and plan to visit disney sea. Hilton Tokyo bay seems a much talked abt hotel. Is it convenient to other attractions in Tokyo besides DisneySea? We plan to visit other attractions like Asakusa, megaweb and tsukiji market etc. Is there a recommended area in Tokyo to stay which is convenient for moving around?
Only Disney Sea? Usually we spent 2 to 3 days at both parks. You can also look at Sheraton Tokyo Bay. Rooms are usually bigger at these hotels than at the city. From these hotels you have to take the Disney monorail to Maihama station first before taking JR lines to other places. Quite ok. If stay in the city, try to find one hotel near to stations on the Yamanote Line.
Thanks for the recommendation on Sheraton. Will check it out. Have been doing my research and is now actually thinking of staying at Metropolitan Marunouchi at Tokyo Station for the convenience. Train to disney from there is only 15 mins and it seems convenient to lots of places. Our bullet train from Nagoya to Tokyo will stop there. Narita express is also from there. And the Pokemon store which my boys want to visits is also nearby! (yes, they are still Pokemon crazy at 17 and 14 becos of the DS game :siao: ) -

Yes, if just tokyo and disneyland. Then F&E is ok.
Decide on the dates of departure and return so as to book airfare.
The read up more about disneyland including how to get there.
It is better to choose a hotel that is near to the rail station for convenience. -
thank you for your reply!
will start with the airline tickets first. Thanks!starlight1968sg:

anyone knows if we are able to do toyko disneyland and disneysea and probably a bit of sightseeing elsewhere in toyko for about 4k for 2 adults and 2 kids? 5D4N?
4k to include all expenditure (food, entrance fees and maybe buy a bit of goodies in japan)
any recommendations on airline and accommodation to fit that budget? -
Hi hi
Anyone can recommend any decent hotel which is near to Disneysea ?
Thought of visiting Tokyo in Early Dec and visit Disneysea too. Had been to Disneyland 2 years back.
The Disneysea hotel is too expensive at about $500 per night.
We will be staying few days near Ginza and wanted to book for 1 or 2 nights near Disneyland.
Thank you -

I used Sheraton Grande Tokyo Bay Hotel.

I booked Sheraton Tokyo Bay on hotels.com for this mid November a couple of months ago when they had a promotion. It was around SGD 215 per night.

I love Disneysea and it took me one whole day to explore Disneysea. I didn’t have time to explore Disneyland. Do allocate two days to explore.
