May I know where to buy Trinity piano exam material in Singapore?

      Thanks.

      Kawai Music School

      Thanks.

If sign up the Trinity graded exam as a private candidate, where to sit for the exam? Also at Kawai Music School branches?

Or is it like ABRSM exam where ABRSM assigns candidates to any other studios / music schools?
I think by default you will take the exam at a Kawai music school branch because they are the local administrator here.

Normally does the teacher chooses the exam pieces to be played or is the choice left to the student? Thanks!

Depends on your teacher. Teacher usually should recommend suitable pieces, and student can decide. But some teachers may insist on their chosen pieces.

We think any one of the crochet or crochet rest can be striked off. Is it?

Normally we don't put two crotchet rests next to each other, two beat rests are usually written as a minim rest. So cancelling the last crotchet rest is the ideal answer.

Thanks phankao, technically it looks correct regardless of which crochet or crochet rest is cancelled. But I feel that it looks odd if we cancel the crochet. Why not minim rest instead of two crochet rests?

Thanks Dreamaurora, I want some comments before I go tell my kid "this is wrong…"

When I asked him," are you sure? Cancel the crochet?", his reply was,"any one (of the crochet or crochet rest) is ok."

Not sure how to fault him… Now I am more assured.

                        Thanks both!
