Mr Brian Dean Zhi Min is the first President’s Scholar from NUS High School of Mathematics and Science. He will study biological sciences at Harvard University after he finishes his National Service stint.

Brain Dean ,of mixed parentage is also the ex-president of NUSH Student council and on principal lists for a number of years. AS an example of versatility of NUSH student, Brain actually took history as his arts subject in y3/y4.

For a yearly graduated cohort of merely 200 or less, NUSH is getting more well known as one of the leading Science-based IP school in Singapore.
      Thanks For sharing

May I also add that last year NUSH has the first SAF scholar award.

To be fair, according to the circular, the holiday is a result of the overall achievements of the NUSH students in the past year and present year. 😄

Fully agreed. The president Scholarship is icing on the cake. Students like Way Tan, Lim Jeck, Qiu Xin Yi, Wong Fan, Francis etc just to quote a few names have been putting NUS High on the International Olympiads competitions high pedestal for many years already. Just need to see the achievements list to find out.

Have you NUSHers received the results about the 1st round of SJPO? The 2nd round will be held on Aug 25th.

                  TiA!

I think the achievement list was truncated because the achievements in early years are found within each subject or CCA (on the desktop version)
So depending on which list one looks at, the reader may get an impression that there are no achievements in recent years or in the earlier ones.
