HWS thread a bit tiamz these days…just to wake up a bit. Upcoming is the mooncake festival - event on 29 August evening. Am sure parents of upcoming P1s are welcome to join in the fun and get to see the school afterdark.
There will be carnival/jumble sale. Understand collection for jumble sale will be 19-22 Aug 2014 from 7.00-7.20am. So HWS parents rally round and donate some good stuff…money goes to charity (in my case, I wanna see my old books go someplace that will love and cherish them). Am intending to donate more storybooks from my stash…may be a tad kiddy (ie for younger kids). Already got one bag, will try to be more ge1 ai4 and pack more stuff for the sale. -

HI Apollo leo and august bb,
I’ve just been accept as parent volunteer. My kid is registering next yr too. What was conveyed to us in the PV briefing is that PV no is limited to 30 this year as they are trying to avoid situation where PV end up not getting in, which was something the sch faced this year. They explained that they choose PV from within 1km from sch. They did not elaborate if there are more than 30PV applications within 1km and if so, how do they select, -

thx hquek! i got the app, but so confused! how or where or to whom i can sign up? besides, some subjects seem to be allocated for particular CLASS, right? how many subject can be signed up per student? CCA should attend weekly?
mummies, if you have any information, please kindly advise, thanks a lot!
Besides, kindly advise if have dental scheme in school?
Thanks!!!! :thankyou:
Ehh, that one I still learning. But I believe can try get in touch with the teacher in charge or the one in charge of cca. Understand that cca is usually once a week unless it's competition (then may be twice a week). But as said, my kids not active in cca, so I very lost.
Yes, there is a dental service in the school. Periodically, kiddo gets called up for dental check and they can go for urgent matters (eg loose baby tooth). Be aware that sometimes they schedule the visits during sch hols....and it's pretty much impossible to reschedule (so we just miss). Probably it's due to me not trying hard enough.
thanks hquek. i contacted the teacher in charge, she suggested let kid to join cca start at next year...hmmm, okay la i think. -
